Representative of 25 indigenous nationalities organizations have demanded a proportionate representation in the upcoming constituent assembly. They have also demanded a racial and sub-racial autonomy and self-governance with a full rights of right to self-determination. This demanded was made issuing a press release by NGO Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NGO-FONIN) on behlaf of the 25 representatives gathered in Kathmandu from 4-9 Dec. 2006 to receive training on Human Rights and to discuss about indigenous human rights on the the occasion of celeberation of 58th International Human Rights Day. The demand was found out during a critical analysis of the Peace Accord held on 21st November 2006 by unanimously of the participant. In addition the gathering demanded to enlist all the indigenous nationalities and identified officially to ensure their representation in the consitutent assembly.
